Pollution is a huge problem in the world at the moment and we need to look at cleaning it up as soon as possible. One of the reasons that we have seen an increase in pollution is because of the fact that there are is so much paper being printed and disposed on a daily basis.
But offices haven’t still fully updated to modern technology standards, I have visited offices that still use filing cabinets instead of databases. So below are my 3 steps to success to make your office that little bit greener.
1) Get rid of the old dusty fax machine and sign up to a fax to email service online, this way you will be able to receive and send all of your faxes digitally and eliminate the use of paper.
2) Get rid of that filing cabinet and store all of your documents into a computer database that can be remotely accessed, remember to take daily backups.
3) Make the office use all of the latest technology implementations, there is no need to use any paper in this day and age so scrap it all and jump into the technological realm.
If you are in an office then you should take note of the government’s efforts to go green and help clear up your work place. Why waste paper and trees when you can give back to the world and help global warming with keeping your offices eco friendly.
There are plenty more benefits that can come from this, it will help make your office a lot more efficient. You will actually save money in the long run believe it or not and that extra money can go towards improving efficiency further. It’s a mindset that all businesses should get into really.
