Many people think that using Nuclear power is going to do some the world good by reducing C02 emissions but this is simply not true. Arguments for and against are as followed?

There Is Not A Chance Of Spillage

According to many governments there is a very tiny chance of a leak every happening thanks to inventions such as level measurement. This will tell them when the waste is getting to the point where it could potentially leak out and will set of an alarm. This means that an accident is almost impossible to happen because someone will always be on site to stop it.

Does Is Actually Help?

One of the things that needs to be asked here is, do we really need to rely on nuclear power at all? 4% of power comes from the nuclear plants in the UK, yes that it is all, surely we have other ways to get such a small amount? Greenpeace and other similar organisations will of course say that we can use great renewable energy sources like the sun, wind and tides, is this a good thing though? These things are so much better than nuclear power that is obvious but wind turbines can be very noisy and they are a major eyesore. Is it really the first thing we want people to see when flying into the country?

They should not allow any more nuclear plants to open but I do not see why they should even bother trying to close the current ones they have all of the solids level switch and ultrasonic level controls that they need and for a disaster to happen the government would be in deep, deep trouble so I am almost certain that will not happen.

More plants also gives terrorists more chances to hit us hard and destroying a nuclear power plant could kill thousands.
